Elkem Silicones Yongdeng
Elkem Yongdeng is located in Yongdeng county, Lanzhou city in China.
The plant is located in Yongdeng county close to Zhongchuan airport.
Elkem Silicon (Lanzhou) Co., Ltd.（Short Name：Elkem Silicones Yongdeng） was founded in 1992, formerly known as Gansu Carbide plant, it is affiliated to Sinochem (Holding) Co., LTD and it is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise of Norway Elkem Co., LTD., which is controlled by China, and Elkem Silicones Yongdeng joined China Bluestar (Group) Co., LTD in 2002.
The plant is mainly engaged in the production of chemical grade silicon metal, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, which is supporting the raw material supply of Elkem Silicones Xinghuo in Jiangxi.

Silicon powder, also known as micronized silicon, is used for many different applications.
