Community involvement

Elkem Iceland wants to make a good impact on the surrounding community to support ambitious work in various fields

Elkem at Iceland is currently a loyal supporter of the ÍA Women's Football Association, ÍA Basketball Club, Akranes Rescue Club and FabLab workshop in Akranes.

We also supported other ad hoc projects.

We aim to be a positive driving force in the local community and support projects in the fields of health and sports and culture and art. Elkem in Iceland strives to ensure that the funds that go to sponsorships support the company's mission and strategy.
