Polymer additives for thermoplastics provide critical features such as better extrudability in processing, excellent flame retardancy, improved rheology, protection against dynamic fatigue, and more consistent fibre and halogen dispersion – across a wide range of applications. 

The SIDISTAR™ 'ball bearing effect' has clear advantages for both cured and uncured compounds. Significant improvements in mixing energy and efficiency are seen, and there are cases where the number of mixing cycles could be reduced from three to two, at the same time as improving compound homogeneity.

Our product SIDISHIELD™ is a multifunctional additive for coatings which provides advantages during the production, the application and the final use of the coating. It can be used in water-borne, solvent-based, two-component and powder coatings. SIDISHIELD™ is available both in a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic variety.

Silicone fluids are silicone oils which feature different degrees of polymerization and therefore viscosity. In silicone fluids or oils, the polymeric chains form spirals with a very high methyl density and thus low intermolecular association, which enables them to glide and slip over one another. They are very versatile and by replacing some of the methyl groups with phenyl (inert), vinyl or amino groups (reactive), it is easy to modify them, thus enabling formulators to provide oils with specific characteristics for different applications.
